TWO-PERSON SET
Matching Equipment for Two Users
Each user receives a radio, antenna, 1500mAh rechargeable battery, acoustic-tube earpiece, charger, charging base, and wrist strap, creating a coordinated two-radio package.
HANDS-FREE COMMUNICATION
Use VOX with the Included Earpieces
VOX allows the radio to trigger transmission from detected speech, reducing the need to press the push-to-talk control during suitable hiking, travel, event, and work activities.
VOICE SCRAMBLING
Reduce Casual Understanding of Conversations
A compatible voice-scrambler function alters transmitted speech so ordinary listeners may find it harder to understand. Both radios must use compatible settings, and the feature should not be treated as encryption or guaranteed privacy.
RECHARGEABLE POWER
Individual Battery and Charging Equipment
Each handheld radio comes with a 3.7V 1500mAh rechargeable battery, charger, and charging base. A low-battery alert helps users recognize when recharging is needed.
PORTABLE HANDLING
Designed for Carrying Outdoors
The slim body combines an anti-slip surface, belt clip, and wrist strap for portable use. Water-resistant construction provides limited exposure protection, but the radios are not identified as waterproof.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is included in the two-radio package?
The package includes two UHF radios, two antennas, two acoustic-tube earpieces, two 3.7V 1500mAh rechargeable batteries, two chargers, two charging bases, and two wrist straps.
How does the voice scrambler work?
The function alters transmitted speech so it is less intelligible to casual listeners using ordinary settings. Compatible scrambler settings are required at both radios, and the feature does not provide encryption or guaranteed confidentiality.
Can the radios be used hands-free?
The radios include VOX operation and acoustic-tube earpieces. VOX can trigger transmission from detected speech after it is enabled and configured.
What batteries do the radios use?
Each radio uses one included 3.7V 1500mAh rechargeable battery. Separate chargers and charging bases are provided for both radios.
Are the walkie talkies waterproof?
No waterproof or immersion rating is supplied. The radios are described as water-resistant and should still be protected from heavy rain, submersion, and prolonged moisture exposure.
What affects the communication range?
Usable range varies with terrain, buildings, foliage, interference, antenna position, battery condition, radio configuration, and local operating conditions.
